Alexis started her career with Shell in 2005 as a Control Systems Engineer at the Convent refinery in Louisiana. Alexis graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and has an Executive MBA from The University of Memphis. She has held a variety of roles in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Development and Operational Excellence in industries including Chemicals, Energy and Aerospace. In her current role as the Utilities Sector Decarbonization Manager, she works alongside gas and power utilities to help set and accomplish mutual decarbonization goals and objectives. In her free time, Alexis enjoys spending time with her two sons, Jackson (age 8) and Carter (age 5), singing and playing classical music.
