Utility Industry Veteran Joins AiDash to Support Continued Global Expansion Amid Customer Growth
Thiago Carvalho joins as vice president of sales, focusing on utility customers around the world.
SANTA CLARA, Calif., December 6, 2022 – AiDash, a leading provider of vegetation management and other satellite- and AI-powered operations, maintenance, and sustainability solutions, today announced a significant new addition to its global leadership team. Thiago Carvalho joins as vice president of sales to lead AiDash’s continuing expansion among the world’s utilities.
Carvalho brings 7 years of experience from Schneider Electric, most recently as director of sales for Digital Grid, which comprises asset management, operations management, and edge management solutions. Including earlier stints with Oracle Utilities and Intergraph, he has developed deep expertise helping utilities digitally transform to improve asset health inspections, grid resilience, and climate resilience using digital twins and other grid modernization technologies.
“AiDash’s technology is revolutionizing the industry, and the company’s rapid growth is a testament to that,” said Carvalho. “I’m thrilled to join the team during such a critical growth period and am confident my experience will aid in AiDash’s success in expanding its customer base.”
At AiDash, Carvalho will play a critical role building and leading the AiDash sales organization, working cross-functionally and globally to develop and drive the end–to–end sales strategy for the world’s utilities. AiDash’s customer list has already doubled this year and will continue to expand in all regions.
“I am impressed with Thiago’s leadership and experience, and I am excited to bring him on board to work with our global customers,” says Abhishek Singh, co-founder and CEO of AiDash. “Thiago has already engaged with some of the world’s largest utilities to adopt Schneider Electric’s grid modernization and resiliency products. At AiDash he will help to complement those initiatives with the natural next-step of satellite-powered vegetation management and will extend AiDash’s global leadership in the category.”
