AiDash launches new Intelligent Sustainability Management System at COP26 UN Climate Change Conference in Glasgow
Satellite and AI-powered platform to be used by utility, energy and other companies to measure, enhance, track, report and offset biodiversity, natural capital, GHG emission and other sustainability metrics for land, air and water
This afternoon at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, AiDash announced the launch of its satellite- and AI-powered Intelligent Sustainability Management System™ (ISMS) [now called Biodiversity Net Gain Management System™ (BNGAI)]. Utility and energy companies or any organization with large landholdings can use the platform to measure, enhance, track, report, and offset (METRO) sustainability metrics on land, air, and water (LAW).
AiDash’s CEO, Abhishek Singh, announced the platform’s launch with Stephen Marland, Director of Innovation at National Grid Partners. The National Grid Partners Innovation team has worked closely with AiDash over the past nine months to develop ISMS.
What is AiDash Intelligent Sustainability Management System (ISMS)?
At COP26, countries and organizations from all over the world renewed their commitment to meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. And using traditional methods won’t be enough to achieve these ambitious goals.
AiDash ISMS can help organizations and government entities eliminate some of the laborious, time-intensive, expensive fieldwork required to ecologically survey large landholdings spread across hundreds or thousands of acres. The cost and complexity of these manual surveys often hinder otherwise progressive and environmentally-conscious organizations from implementing natural capital enhancement plans.
ISMS can help map land types, quantify biodiversity, measure GHG emissions and carbon absorption, and track a number of other sustainability metrics. With actionable data prioritized with AI, organizations can save time and money while still making progress toward their sustainability goals.
